Puerto Pollensa is situated on the beautiful Balearic Island of Majorca.

This resort has everything - wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back friendly atmosphere. The sheltered horseshoe shaped bay is set against the stunning backdrop of the Tramuntana mountain range. No wonder it remains a favourite with families and couples who return time and time again.

Originally a fishing village Puerto Pollensa retains the time old tradition of the evening paseo or stroll. On warm, balmy evenings everyone wanders up and down between the marina where the yachts are moored, past the pavement cafes and along the celebrated Pine Walk as far as the elegant Illa D'Or hotel.

Located in this beautiful resort this Spacious two bedroom apartment is on the second floor, with lift access, and commands magnificent views of the Tramuntana mountains and the fabulous beach which is conveniently located about 200 metres away at the entrance to the famous Pine Walk. This beach is extremely child-friendly as are the varied selection of restaurants of International as well as Majorcian cuisine, to be found all along this spectacular walkway.

There are several shops, bars and restaurants within metres of the apartment including an Internet Café so you can keep a close eye on your business or contact with your family at home if you wish, and another which serves a fabulous English breakfast. Although these bars are close by they are NOT directly beneath our apartment so there is very little, if any, late night noise as this is a very tranquil area.

The main town square with its beautiful Majorcian church and school, as well as many more bars and restaurants where you can wine & dine 'al fresco', is only a few minutes walk away. A local Market is held there every Wednesday. For the 'young at heart' you will also find the only Disco there.

The apartment also features Air-Conditioning and TV with DVD Player as well as a Radio and CD player.

*Both bedrooms are doubles. One features a double bed and the other has twin beds. There is also a fold away travel cot by Mothercare.

*In the lounge, which is L-shaped, there is a 2 seater couch and a 3 seater couch. There is also a divan which converts to 2 single beds. It also contains beautiful glass doored wall units & cabinets There is a separate dining area with wall unit, dining table and 6 chairs. There is a TV/DVD player, CD player/Radio . There is also air-conditioning.

*The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, full size cooker with oven, microwave, electric kettle,iron etc. There is also a Utility room with washing machine.

*The bathroom contains full-size bath, shower, toilet and bidet.

*There is also a covered balcony leading off the lounge which is ideal for outside dining or just relaxing, sunning or simply watching the world go by!

For visitors who prefer a swimming pool there is a small one in the block for your use and we have also arranged access to the pool, bar & restaurant facilities in the Flora Apartments which are situated directly across the road from this apartment.

For Golf lovers there are several courses in the area the nearest (see pic)being approximately 5 kilometres away, just outside the old town of Pollensa which is famous for the Calvario......365 steps leading up to the old church at the top, and depicting the journey Jesus took to his Crucifixion. At Easter the locals re-enact the whole story and is a sight not to be missed.

For those who like Walking, Pollensa and some of the surrounding areas offer some of the best walks on the whole of Majorca including the Boquer Valley which is a mere 15 minutes walk from the sea front of Puerto Pollensa

Some of the other walks worth doing are the Victoria Peninsular, the Castillo del Reys and the walk over to Cala San Vicente, with a visit to the 3000 year old burial caves. Then within a 30 minute drive you can be in the Tramuntana mountain range. Some of the highest mountains are to be found here, Massanella and Puig Major are the highest at 1340+ metres. There are lots of lovely walks some 3 to 4 hours long and others which will take around 5 to 6 hours.

For those interested in Bird Watching the Boquer Valley, as well as being a great walk, is also a wonderful area for seeing many species of birds as it is a favourite place for migratory birds in the Spring and Autumn. Warblers, Flycatchers, Woodchat Strikes, Bee-eaters, Hoopoes, Crag Martins, Booted Eagles, Ospreys and Falcons can often be seen. A short drive around the bay will take you to the Albufera Marsh, one of the finest wetland sites in Europe! If you are remotely interested in bird-life then Puerto Pollensa is the place to take your binoculars!
